Penny Drip is a coffee + cocktail bar offering a variety of beverage-related products, all in the heart of Downtown Fort Wayne.

The coffee + cocktail bar concept is found typically in larger cities around the world and is becoming more and more popular. Coffee drinks can be expanded with unique liquors and combined to make beautifully balanced cocktails. All of these drinks can exist seamlessly in a newly renovated historic space!

The café will have a world-class beverage program. We are excited about the unique specialty coffee drinks like the Bergamot Latte, Salted Pistachio Macchiato, Chile Mocha, and our flagship nitro vanilla oat iced latte.

Other popular items will include our house gin & soda highball, which will be made using a special Japanese carbonation machine that creates the world’s best bubbles. We can’t forget our favorites such as the Aperol Spritz or Amari + coke and day-drinking friendly, miniature cocktails like a Coffee Negroni or Almond Coffee Old Fashioned.

Penny Drip’s food offerings will be small but mighty. We want the breakfast sandwich to be the biggest highlight but have other options that can fit in all day- though, who doesn’t love a breakfast sandwich after 6 pm? We also want dessert to be an option, from house-made tiramisu to ice cream and more.

Penny Drip can be that perfect after-dinner spot for something sweet and a coffee or a nightcap to go with it! Other flagship food items will focus on elevated toast servings like the ever-familiar avocado toast and bagel + lox or tomato toast. We will also have some simple grab-and-go options, like chicken salad or overnight oats, for those on their way through town.

The atmosphere will host an intimate setting, with industrial-modern fixtures and comfortable seating. With plenty of outdoor seating on the patio and open-air garage doors, Penny Drip will surely be the place to be throughout the spring, summer, and fall seasons—and certainly a cozy place to relax in Downtown Fort Wayne during the cooler months.

Hospitality is one of the cornerstone philosophies that define Penny Drip, and that comes from the Be Better influence. Penny Drip aims to be a neighborhood cocktail bar and pack all that into a busy morning coffee service with delicious food. So often, at coffee shops, you are forced to pay right away, which makes it hard to order a second beverage. We want this to be a coffee shop where opening a tab is normal and creates a welcome environment, where people can stay for a while and enjoy the experience of a café with more than one round!

Be Better Hospitality seeks to educate the community and push the local cocktail scene to higher levels with proven leadership in the industry. In doing so, the group's goal is to further establish Fort Wayne as an attractive, urban Midwest destination for residents and travelers. Penny Drip will do just that.
